Here are East End Brown Lentils, Polished, whole brown masoor lentils presented in a generous 12 x 1kg case. Polishing gives the lentils a clean, uniform look, while their earthy flavour and soft finish make them a natural choice for dal and thick, nourishing soups. Quick to cook and easy on the budget, they are a staple that rarely sits still on the shelf.
Rinse well, then simmer until tender for classic brown lentil dal, thick soups and stews. They also bulk out curries and rice dishes, and hold up nicely in batch cooking.
Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, transfer to an airtight container and use within a reasonable period.
