Add whole pods to biryani, pilau, rich curries, stocks and dals, lightly bruised to release the aroma. The seeds can also be removed and ground into garam masala and other blends.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the pack after use to keep the pods fragrant.
