These long dried red chillies add colour and a warm, rounded heat to a wide range of dishes. The catering case holds six 200g packs, a practical supply for regular cooking.
Fry whole in hot oil to flavour tarka, add to curries, dals and stews, or grind into a chilli powder. Adjust the quantity to suit your preferred level of heat.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal or transfer to an airtight container after opening to keep the chillies fresh.
