Heera Couscous is a fine, quick cooking wheat grain that swells in hot liquid without any real cooking. The 20x500g case means twenty 500g packs, a practical format for a kitchen serving couscous regularly or a household that likes to batch cook. Couscous is milled from durum wheat semolina, so it does contain wheat and gluten.
Serving and cooking: Measure the couscous into a bowl, pour over roughly an equal volume of boiling stock or water, cover and leave for around five minutes. Fluff with a fork, then fold through olive oil, lemon, herbs, roasted vegetables or grilled meats. Serve warm as a side or cool for salads and lunch boxes.
Keep in a cool, dry place. Reseal the pack or decant into an airtight container after opening.
