Ahmed Mango Custard takes the familiar comfort of homemade custard and gives it a tropical mango twist. The cornflour based powder comes in a 285g tub and is prepared by whisking with milk and sugar, then cooking to a smooth, pourable custard that can be served warm or chilled. It is a simple, versatile dessert base for family meals and gatherings.
Blend the powder with a little cold milk and sugar to a smooth paste, stir into hot milk and cook gently, stirring, until thickened. Pour over puddings and fruit, layer into trifles, or chill and set as a mango custard dessert. Follow the pack instructions for exact quantities.
Store the powder in a cool, dry place away from moisture and reseal the tub after use. Once prepared, keep any leftover custard refrigerated and consume promptly.
