Retail – East End AJWAIN SEEDS 1kg

Description

E.E. Ajwain Seeds 1 kg: aromatic carom seeds in a catering pack

East End Foods ajwain seeds, also known as carom seeds, come in a generous 1 kg pack suited to busy kitchens and keen cooks who use them often. The small, ridged seeds carry a warm, pungent aroma close to thyme, thanks to their natural thymol. A 1 kg bag is a catering size that keeps a professional spice rack well stocked for months of cooking.

Key Features

• A 1 kg catering pack of whole ajwain (carom) seeds
• Warm, sharp, thyme like flavour drawn from natural thymol
• A little goes a long way, so the pack stretches across many dishes
• Classic in parathas, breads, savoury snacks and lentil tempers
• Buying in bulk suits takeaways, restaurants and frequent home bakers

Cooking and Uses: Add a pinch to paratha and puri dough, scatter over savoury biscuits and snacks, or temper the seeds in hot oil at the start of a dish to release their aroma. Ajwain pairs well with root vegetables, fish and lentils. Use it sparingly, as the flavour is strong and can dominate.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the pack sealed or decanted into an airtight container to preserve the aroma.
