East End Red Lentils come in a 1kg retail pack. Red split lentils, or masoor dal, are one of the quickest pulses to cook, softening into a smooth, comforting puree straight from the bag.
Cook into classic dal, stir into soups and stews, thicken curries, or blend into dips. Give them a rinse first and skim any froth as they simmer.
Keep in a cool, dry place and reseal or decant into an airtight container once opened.
