Heera Moong Dal Washed is split, skinless mung beans in a 2kg retail pack. Washed means the green skin has been removed, leaving the pale yellow split dal that cooks quickly and softens easily. The 2kg bag is a single retail size, handy for regular dal cooking or light catering.
Cooking and Uses: Rinse, then simmer with water, turmeric and salt until soft, roughly 20 to 30 minutes, and finish with a spiced tarka. Also used in khichdi, soups and even sweet dishes. Stir to a creamy texture.
Keep cool and dry, sealed once opened, and use within the pack date.
