This is the retail bag of Magna's Signature Salt Coated fry, a chunky 9.5mm cut finished with a lightly salted coating. The seasoning gives a savoury, crisp bite as soon as the fries come out of the fryer, and the coating helps them stay crunchy longer than a plain chip would. The 2.25kg bag fits a home freezer comfortably and suits smaller kitchens looking for a fry with a bit more character built in.
Cooking from frozen: cook from frozen. Fry at around 175C for 3 to 4 minutes until golden and crisp, or oven bake to the times on the pack. As the coating is seasoned, taste before adding more salt.
keep frozen at minus 18C. Cook from frozen and do not refreeze.
