Monsalwa Frozen Okra Cut 340g gives you tender okra, also known as bhindi or ladies fingers, already washed and sliced into even pieces. There is no coating and no seasoning, just a single frozen vegetable in a 340g retail pack that you cook straight from frozen.
Cooking from frozen: Add the okra straight to a hot pan with oil and spices, or drop it into a simmering curry. Cook until tender and heated through. Avoid overcrowding the pan so the pieces stay firm rather than soft. There is no need to defrost first.
Keep frozen at minus 18C until you are ready to cook. Do not refreeze once thawed.
