Chana masala is one of the great vegetarian comfort dishes of South Asia, and this Shan Masala Channa makes it straightforward. Supplied in a 100g pack, it brings together all the ground spices needed to cook a full flavoured chickpea curry with a rich, savoury gravy.
Fry onions, ginger and garlic, add tomatoes and the masala, then stir in cooked chickpeas with a little water and simmer until the gravy thickens. Follow the pack for quantities and cooking times.
Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and reseal the pack after opening.
