Shan Meat Tenderiser is a fine powder in a 40g pack, formulated with natural enzyme from raw papaya to help soften meat before cooking. It is worked into the meat ahead of time so tougher cuts turn out more tender once cooked.
Follow the pack method. In general a small amount of the powder is sprinkled onto or mixed through the meat and left to rest for a short time before cooking. Use sparingly, as only a little is needed.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and reseal the pack after opening.
