Black raisins are simply grapes that have been dried until they turn deep and chewy, concentrating their natural sweetness. This 250g pack from TOP OP is a versatile store cupboard staple, equally at home stirred into puddings and pilaus, baked into cakes, or eaten by the handful as a naturally sweet snack.
Add to cakes, cookies and flapjacks, stir into porridge, kheer and pilau rice, mix into chutneys and curries, or enjoy straight from the pack.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the pack or use an airtight container once opened to keep the fruit soft.
