Uses

Warm a small quantity in hot oil or ghee at the start of a dish to release the aroma, being careful not to let the seeds burn, as this turns them harsh. Add to dal, vegetable curries, spice mixes and pickle recipes, or lightly toast and grind for use in blends. A little goes a long way.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep the seeds in a sealed airtight container to protect their aroma.
