TRS Red Lentils, known as masoor dal, are split red lentils supplied in a 500g pack. They are among the fastest pulses to prepare, softening quickly into a smooth, golden dal, and they need no soaking to get started.
How to cook: Rinse until the water runs clear, then simmer in water until soft, usually around fifteen to twenty minutes. Skim any froth, then temper with spices to finish.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and reseal after opening.
