Shan BBQ Chicken Tikka is a recipe seasoning mix made by Shan Foods in Pakistan. The 12 x 50gm format is a catering case of twelve separate 50g sachets, each one enough to season a batch of chicken. It is a marinade blend rather than a finished product, so the chicken is bought separately. Chicken tikka is a much loved dish of spiced, chargrilled boneless pieces.
Cooking and Uses: Cut boneless chicken into chunks and combine one sachet with yogurt and a splash of oil or lemon. Coat the pieces and chill for at least an hour, or longer for a stronger taste. Thread onto skewers and grill, barbecue or roast until charred and fully cooked through. Serve as a starter, in wraps, or with rice and salad. The recommended spice to meat ratio is shown on the sachet.
