Shan BBQ Malai Boti is a recipe seasoning mix from Shan Foods of Pakistan. Here the pack is 12 x 40gm, a case of twelve 40g sachets, with each sachet seasoning a batch of meat. Malai boti is a milder, creamy barbecue dish, usually made with boneless chicken marinated in cream or yogurt. As with all masala mixes, the meat is bought separately.
Cooking and Uses: Mix one sachet with cream or yogurt and a little oil, then coat bite sized pieces of boneless chicken. Rest in the fridge for an hour or two. Grill, barbecue or roast on skewers until lightly charred and cooked through. A brush of butter towards the end adds richness. Serve with naan and mint chutney. Follow the ratio on the sachet for the right balance.
Store somewhere cool and dry. Use an opened sachet immediately and keep spare sachets sealed.
