Soft lentil dumplings resting under cool, whipped yoghurt and tangy chutneys, that is dahi bhalla, also spelt dahi bhara or dhahi bharra. This case contains twelve 50g sachets, so 12 x 50gm is twelve single use seasoning pouches. The mix seasons the ground lentil batter that becomes the fried dumplings, the bhalla, which you then soak and top with yoghurt. You provide the lentils, yoghurt and chutneys.
Cooking and Uses: Blend soaked lentils, mix in the sachet, then fry spoonfuls into light dumplings. Soak them in water, squeeze gently, arrange, and cover with sweetened whisked yoghurt, tamarind chutney and mint chutney, finishing with a dusting of chaat spice. Refer to the pack for quantities.
Keep in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight. Reseal opened sachets and use them promptly.
