Shan Masala Kofta Curry – 12x50gm

Description

Shan Masala Kofta Curry – 12 x 50gm: Spiced meatball curry without the guesswork

Kofta curry pairs spiced minced meatballs with a smooth, warming gravy. Shan bundles the seasoning for both the koftas and the sauce into a recipe mix, so the spicing stays consistent from ball to gravy. The 12 x 50gm case gives you twelve 50g sachets, one per batch of kofta curry. You add the mince for the koftas plus onions and tomatoes for the sauce.

Key Features

• Twelve 50g sachets per case, each covering one kofta curry
• A single blend to season both the meatballs and the gravy for a joined-up flavour
• Handy for caterers cooking kofta in volume and for a comforting family dinner
• Measured spicing in each sachet, so there is no separate weighing of individual spices

Cooking and Uses

Mix part of the seasoning through minced beef or lamb, roll into koftas, then brown them. Build a sauce from onions, tomatoes and the remaining seasoning, return the koftas and simmer until cooked through and the gravy is rich. Scatter with coriander and serve with rice or naan. A vegetable kofta version works too.

Storage

Store somewhere cool and dry, out of sunlight, and reseal opened sachets.
