Shan Lahori Fish is a recipe seasoning mix inspired by the fried fish sold on the streets of Lahore. The format 12 x 100gm means a case of twelve 100 g packs, which suits shops, caterers and larger households buying in bulk. Each pack is a blend of ground spices for coating and marinating fish. The fish itself is bought separately and cooked to the method on the pack.
Cooking and Uses: Typically the masala is mixed to a paste or dry coat, rubbed over fish fillets or pieces, rested to marinate, then shallow or deep fried until crisp. Serve with lemon, chutney and salad. Follow the step by step directions printed on the pack for quantities and timings.
Keep in a cool, dry cupboard and reseal or close the pack after opening to keep the blend fresh.
