Cooking and Uses 

Fry onions in oil, add your meat or vegetables, stir through the masala, then pour in chopped tomatoes and a little water and simmer until everything is cooked and the sauce thickens. Firmer vegetables such as potato and carrot go in early; quicker ones like peas near the end. Serve with rice, roti or naan.
