TRS Green Cardamom Pods are whole, unbroken green pods packed in 50g bags and boxed as a case of twenty for shops and caterers. Each pod holds tiny dark seeds that carry cardamom's warm, sweetly floral aroma, one of the most loved spices in Indian and wider South Asian kitchens.
Add whole pods to rice, biryani, pilau and slow cooked curries for background fragrance, or crack them open and grind the seeds for a fresher, stronger flavour. Cardamom also lifts chai, kheer, kulfi and baked goods. Remove whole pods before serving if you prefer.
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and strong odours. Keep the pack tightly sealed after opening to protect the aroma.
