This is Tilda Pure Basmati rice in a 5kg pack. Tilda ages its basmati to develop a fine fragrance and the characteristic long, slender grains that stay separate once cooked. The larger format is well suited to caterers and households that cook rice regularly.
Rinse the rice until the water runs clear, then cook by absorption or in plenty of boiling water until tender. It is the classic base for biryani, pilau, curries and everyday meals. Fluff with a fork before serving.
Store in a cool, dry place away from strong odours. Reseal or transfer to an airtight container after opening.
